On September 16, 2015, Elisa's roommates dragged her to a casual Wednesday night party at Sigma Chi. Across the basement, Kyle spotted Elisa and immediately approached her, insisting she play a round of beer pong with him. Despite her initial refusal, Kyle was persistent. An awkward conversation followed the game, where it was revealed that Kyle knew who Elisa was, but Elisa had no idea who Kyle was. Shortly after, Elisa left the party.
